I don't know if they mentioned this in US coverage - but Daniel Cleary is the 1st person ever from Newfoundland to have his name on the cup.There was as much celebrating in Newfie as in Detroit!
Hehe, I actually watched more of the Canadian coverage on CBC, so yeah, I heard all about that :-) Good for him!
